Between November 18 in Vancouver and December 6 in Seattle, the band will play shows with the X-Ecutioners, (hed)pe and DJ Z-Trip on the Countdown to Revolution Tour, the last gigs of the group's year-long road trip.

Although Linkin Park have been working on new material since June (see "Linkin Park Plan To Write Next Album While On Ozzfest"), the band plans to take at least a couple months off before heading back into the rehearsal room, a spokesperson for the group said.

At this point, though, rest and relaxation are merely pinpricks of light at the end of a long tunnel. Linkin Park continue to tour with Family Values, which ends November 17 in Tacoma, Washington. This week they play the East Coast, and on November 3 the band heads south for five dates before finishing up on the West Coast.

Countdown to Revolution begins the night after the final Family Values show. For the first two nights, Linkin Park will play with (hed)pe and DJ Z-Trip. The X-Ecutioners will join the tour on November 27 in Kansas City, Missouri, and will play the remaining nine shows.

Countdown to Revolution Tour dates, according to the band's management:
11/18 - Vancouver, BC @ Orpheum Theater
11/20 - Bakersfield, CA @ TBA
11/27 - Kansas City, MO @ Hale Arena
11/28 - St. Louis, MO @ Family Arena
11/29 - Grand Rapids, MI @ DeltaPlex
11/30 - Cedar Rapids, IA @ U.S. Cellular Center
12/1 - Lincoln, NE @ Pershing Auditorium
12/3 - Salt Lake City, UT @ E-Center
12/4 - TBA
12/5 - Spokane, WA @ Convention Hall
12/6 - Seattle, WA @ Paramount Theatre

After participating in the United We Stand benefit later this month, 'NSYNC will stage a fund-raising concert on Miami's South Beach.

The show, scheduled for November 11, will raise money for the families of New York City police and firefighters killed as a result of the September 11 terrorist attacks, according to a spokesperson for event promoters Fantasma Productions. Other artists are expected to be announced shortly.

Fewer than 2,000 VIP tickets, ranging in price from $100 to $150, will go on sale Saturday (October 13) at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster's phone service and Web site. There is a two-ticket limit.

Crazy Town are ready to hit the studio they just need to know which producer will be sitting behind the board.

The Los Angeles rap-rockers have written the material for their next LP and are waiting to find out from their label if they will record with Rick Rubin or Don Gilmore .

"Either way, we should be fine," Shellshock said backstage at Saturday's Breathe breast cancer benefit concert, where Crazy Town performed along with Third Eye Blind, Seal and others.
As for the sound of the new material, "the heavy songs are a lot more heavy and the melodic songs are a lot more melodic," Shellshock said. "That's just growth. We learned a lot from touring the last couple years." He also said there would be more singing from the band this time around.

Crazy Town, whose debut album, The Gift of Game, sat on shelves for 14 months before "Butterfly" sent it flying, have said their new LP will have less pop appea.
